Ellen Maas works as a physiatrist in spinal cord injury rehabilitation in Roessingh Rehabilitation Center in Enschede. In addition, she performs research on spasticity treatment in the upper extremity of individuals with tetraplegia. Since many years, she is involved in the medical screening of the HandbikeBattle team participants of Roessingh Rehabilitation Center.
