Areej Ennasr is a fourth year medical student at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine in Roanoke, Virginia. Before medical school, she earned a degree in Biomedical Engineering followed by conducting spinal cord injury research at the McGuire Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia. She is currently pursuing Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and has worked on multiple case reports and presentations in that field. Outside of that, she is a part of the Noninvasive Ultrasound Lab at the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute where she is examining low intensity focused ultrasound parameters on human neuromodulation.
