Dr. Voyce graduated from the University of Kansas (Respiratory Care) in 1980, Angelo State University (BSN/MSN) in 2006, and Walden University (EdD) in 2020. She has experience as a hospital-based educator and in higher education, including community college and university settings. Dr. Voyce currently serves as the Director of the Clinical Learning Center for the University of the Incarnate Word School of Nursing and Health Professions. Her research interests include organizational culture, interprofessional simulation, faculty development (experiential learning focus), and immersive virtual reality simulation. She recently published in the Journal of Interprofessional Education & Practice (2023) and Advances in Medical Education and
Practice (2023). She is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) and a member of the National League for Nursing, the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning, and the Society for Simulation in Healthcare.
