Lee Ann Waltz has been a full-time faculty member at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. Lee Ann Waltz has been a full-time faculty member at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas, since 2007. With over 37 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, Dr. Waltz is passionate about positively impacting the next generation of nurses. Her research interests include evidence-based practices in health care, curriculum development, interprofessional education and practice, and nursing education. Waltz holds a Doctorate in Nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, and a Master and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science
Center at San Antonio.
