Dr. Stephanie Bennett

Dr. Bennett has 10 years of experience as an occupational therapist, with an emphasis on inpatient rehabilitation and neurological rehabilitation. She graduated from Towson University in 2012 and received her Masters of Science in occupational therapy at Thomas Jefferson University in 2014. She went on and earned a post-professional doctorate degree in occupational therapy from University of St Augustine in 2020. While completing her doctoral degree, Dr. Bennett received certifications in brain injury and stroke rehabilitation. She has a well rounded background having worked in pediatrics (inpatient and outpatient), adult inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, hands, neuro outpatient, and school settings. Post achievement of her OTD, Dr. Bennett transitioned into a nonclinical role working as a research coordinator for studies involving SCI. Dr. Bennett is enthusiastic about educating future rehabilitation therapists and working in academics in order to facilitate ongoing learning for health care professionals with her experience in multiple settings.
