Dr. Markle is board-certified in Rehabilition Psychology, and a Licensed Psychologist/Neuropsychologist in Austin, TX. She earned double major and minor undergraduate degrees from Indiana University-Bloomington. After an adventuresome career in Washington, DC and Austin, TX, she returned to graduate school to complete a master's in counseling, and earned her doctorate from The University of Texas at Austin. She completed a neuropsychology residency at the Washington, DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center with didactics training at The Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and the National Rehabilitation Hospital. She also completed a two-year postdoctoral integrative psychological and neuropsychological fellowship with rotations at the Austin State Hospital and Texas NeuroRehab Center. She is an active member of the ACRM and Academy of Rehabilitation Psychology, and serves as a Certified Brain Injury Specialist Trainer and on the Board of Governors of the Academy Committee with the Academy of Brain Injury Specialists. She enjoys her private practice and treatment collaborations, and is a consulting specialist at inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and post-acute brain injury facilities.
