Grayson Stephen Chao is a professor, anatomist, media contributor and writer. After graduating NYU, Stephen worked in the area of sport Orthopedics before arriving at Memorial Sloan Kettering in 2010 where he served for over 5 years. Here, he developed a deep interest in Oncology rehabilitation, which continues to be his primary field of authorship. Grayson has also gone on to share his experience in the field of oncology through lecturing PT students from Columbia, SUNY-Stony Brook, NYU and as a master clinician with NYU’s Department of Physical Therapy faculty.
As a industry expert has also been quoted in large health publications such as Men’s Fitness magazine and Under Armour. Currently Grayson is manager of the PT department in NYU’s student health center and recently helped author the textbook Oncology Rehabilitation. He is also on faculty at the College of Staten Island directing their anatomy laboratory and is pursuing his PHD in Rehabilitation Science.
