Jordan earned her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas in 2014 and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University, Houston, Texas in 2018. She is a graduate of the TIRR Memorial Hermann Neurologic Residency Program in 2019.
Jordan has been working as a physical therapist For TIRR Memorial Hermann since completing residency 2019. In those years she has been apart of the Spinal Cord Injury, Neuromuscular, and supplemental staff for the Pediatric Program. In 2020, she became a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy. She now serves as the primary mentor for the spinal cord injury rotation of the TIRR Neurologic residency program as well as an education specialist in the TIRR Education Academy.
Clinically, Jordan has a special interest in implementation of high intensity gait training in both the acute and spinal cord population. She is passionate about supporting patients following spinal cord injury and other neuromuscular conditions to regain independence and return to the community. She enjoys professional services as a member of Advocacy and Consumer Affairs Committee for the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy and is passionate about advocating to local, state and federal lawmakers for the role of rehabilitation for the neurologic population.
