Andrea Frederick, DHA, MSN, CHSE, RN, is Professor of Nursing, Crystal M. Lange College of Health and Human Services, Saginaw Valley State University, University Center, Michigan. Previously, she was a director of nursing at MyMichigan Medical Center in Midland, Michigan. Her career in nursing, nursing management and health care administration spanned over thirty years. Dr. Frederick was a recipient of the Fulbright-Edinburgh Napier University Scholar Award in 2022. Her academic interests include critical care nursing, simulation education, health care finance, and interprofessional development. Dr. Frederick emphasizes the value of diversity in thought and experience that individuals of differing backgrounds bring to solving complex health care problems.
