Dr. Argy Stampas graduated medical school (2005), completed residency at University of Pennsylvania (2009), fellowship in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine at Johns Hopkins University (2010) and Masters of Science in Clinical Research (2020) from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth at Houston) McGovern Medical School. He is currently the Spinal Cord Injury Medicine Research Director at TIRR Memorial Hermann and an Associate Professor in the Department of PM&R at UTHealth at Houston. He is interested in advancing treatments for SCI rehabilitation, including early interventions, rehabiltation practices, and neuromodulation techniques. He is currently funded to study the effects of transcutaneous tibial nerve stimulation (TTNS) in acute and chronic SCI.
