Emily Lyter, PT, DPT is the Administrative Director for Good Shepherd Learns, Creates, and Clinical Research at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network. She advances rehabilitation and care outcomes by fostering education, mentorship, and research to cultivate future clinical experts and innovators. Emily oversees the Good Shepherd Innovation Grants, manages academic and industry partnerships, and enhances clinical practice through data-driven insights.
Since starting at Good Shepherd 10 years ago as a physical therapist, Emily has served in multiple roles that have enhanced clinical practice and spearheaded research and innovation across the Network. Prior to Good Shepherd, Emily was a Research Coordinator at the Advanced Neurovascular Imaging Laboratory at Mount Sinai Medical School in New York, studying the biology of human behavior and cognition with advanced brain imaging techniques. She holds a BA in Neuroscience from Franklin & Marshall College and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University. Emily is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine, and an advisory board member for Penn State’s Lehigh Valley LaunchBox.
