Teresa Boynton is currently an independent consultant. From 2015 – 2018 she worked for Hill-Rom assisting healthcare facilities to build safe patient handling and mobility programs. Prior to this, Teresa worked for Banner Health for over 26 years as an occupational therapist, ergonomics and injury prevention specialist where she was focused on preventing caregiver and patient injuries, and SPHM programs. She received a 2020 “Innovation Award” from NBCOT for her work on developing and implementing Bedside Mobility Assessment Tool (BMAT).
