Heather Kendall is currently the System Director of Quality and Patient Safety at Brooks Rehabilitation. She oversees the quality and patient safety of three inpatient rehab hospitals, two skilled nursing facilities, an assisted living facility, a memory care facility, and a multi-division home healthcare company. She has a passion for utilizing data to drive performance improvement and patient’s outcomes. Heather holds a Master’s degree of nursing, in nursing leadership, a certificate in healthcare quality, and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt in performance improvement. Through her work, she has been able to advance the quality and healthcare analytics field as a co-author to multiple articles focused on utilizing big data and artificial intelligence. Heather is also privileged to have lead teams and contribute to the building of two separate predictive analytics tools designed to improve patient outcomes while decreasing the burden on staff.
