Susan H. Hamady Lin, ScD, OTR/L, FAOTA, is the former research director of AOTA and serves as the Secretary and Communications Task Force Chair for the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine (ACRM) Rehabilitation Treatment Specification Networking Group. She is affiliate faculty for Marymount University Center for Optimal Aging and regularly reviews for the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). Her past roles included President of the National Occupational Therapy Honor Society, Virginia Representative to AOTA Representative Assembly, and peer reviewer for NIDILRR and PCORI applications, as well as AJOT, Archives, and JMIR journals.
Dr. Lin received a BS from the College of William and Mary, master’s degree in occupational therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University – Medical College of Virginia, and a Doctor of Science in Therapeutic Studies from Boston University. Her contributions have been recognized with Fellow awards from AOTA and ACRM as well as the OT Alumni Award from Boston University.
