Janet Keith is an Occupational Therapist and Certified Case Manager with greater than 25 years of experience in Neurorehabilitation, Program Management and Case Management in New England. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of New Hampshire in 1996 with a Major in Occupational Therapy and a Minor in Psychology. Her career trajectory includes these positions: Outpatient Occupational therapist, Director of Rehabilitation, Clinical Evaluator, Director of Admissions, Brain Injury Program Manager, and Rehabilitation Hospital Brain Injury Unit Case Manager. Her current role as National Senior Community Relations Manager for Rehab Without Walls Home & Community Services in Maine and New Hampshire, provides her with the opportunity to screen patients and meet with families, assist with care transitions, interface with case managers, rehabilitation clinicians, medical providers and funders, provide advocacy and resources, and build a vital service model in the continuum of specialized community-based rehabilitation. She was recognized nationally by Rehab Without Walls in 2021 with the Sales Performer of the Year Award and in 2022 with the Business Development and Sales Impact Player of the Year award. Janet’s decades long membership on the Brain Injury Association of Maine-America’s Conference Committee and her new appointment to the Maine Brain Injury Stroke Alliance, provide opportunities to educate professionals, survivors and their family members, in conjunction with policy development at hospital and community levels in the State of Maine. Janet is always excited to share her knowledge about neuro and complex rehab resources in New England and across the nation.
