Ashlie White is the Chief Strategy and Programs Officer at the Amputee Coalition and serves as the Principle Investigator (PI) for the Administration for Community Living (ACL) National Limb Loss Resource Center (NLLRC). Prior to joining the Coalition, she served as the Director of Health Policy and Strategic Alliances for the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA). She began her career in health advocacy work on the operations side of her family-owned prosthetics and orthotics patient-care practice. During her time as Director of Operations at Beacon P&O, she served eight years as Director of Government Affairs for the North Carolina Orthotics and Prosthetics Trade Association (NCOPTA) and four years on the board of Directors for the National Association for the Advancement of Orthotics and Prosthetics (NAAOP). Ms. White is currently attending NYU Law’s Health Law and Strategy graduate program and completed the Public Health Leadership graduate program at UNC’s Gillings School of Global Public Health in 2022. She also holds MA and BA degrees from the School of Journalism at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She currently splits her time between Washington DC and Durham, NC.
