Rene' Mills, M.S., CCC-SLP, CBIST, is a Provider Relations Manager at Craig Hospital in Denver, Colorado. She is a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in treatment of acquired brain injury with over 30 years experience in the continuum of care from ICU to outpatient therapy. Special areas of focus have been improving insight and awareness in brain injury survivors and social pragmatics. She received her Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders from Henderson State University, and Master's Degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences/University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Rene' is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist Trainer with the Brain Injury Association of America and has trained healthcare providers across the United States. She is also a Medical Rehabilitation CARF surveyor. She is currently serving as the Co-Chair for the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado. Rene' was honored by the Texas Brain Injury Alliance in 2017 with the award for Professional Contribution for dedication in Service and Advocacy to the brain injury community.
