Jan Struhar is a doctoral prepared physical therapist at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab (formerly the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago) with extensive experience in cancer rehabilitation. He currently works as an Innovation Therapist within the Strength and Endurance Lab. Jan’s passion and expertise for cancer focusses on improving care and maximizing quality of life for persons’ with a cancer diagnosis. Jan is currently a member of the Academy of Oncologic Physical Therapy and became a Board Certified Oncologic Physical Therapist in June of 2020. Jan is also a member of the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine (ACRM) Cancer Quality of Life Task Force. Additionally, Jan acts as an Eastern District Representative for the Illinois Physical Therapy Association (IPTA).
