Susan Wilbanks is an Assistant Professor of Kinesiology at Samford University where she teaches courses on research methods and disability in movement sciences. Her line of research focuses on prevention and management of chronic pain conditions. Dr. Wilbanks holds a bachelor’s of science degree in Athletic Training from Creighton University, a master’s of science in Movement Studies in Disability from Oregon State University, and a PhD in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Wilbanks also serves as the chair for ACRM's Pain Rehabilitation Networking Group.
