Garett Parrish is a Research Assistant at the Spinal Cord Injury and Disability Research Center (SCIDR) at TIRR Memorial Hermann in Houston, TX. He graduated with a Master of Science Degree in Experimental Psychology with an emphasis in Behavioral Neuroscience from Angelo State University. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Angelo State University. For the last year and a half, Mr. Parrish has contributed to three different studies at SCIDR pertaining to the physical and mental health of people with spinal cord injuries. He is a research assistant on the Model Systems SCI Study. He serves as the study coordinator for The Status of Oral Health in People with Spinal Cord Injuries in the United States. Mr. Parrish is also a research assistant for an RCT of an online group health promotion program for people aging with SCI.
