Wenjie Ji obtained her Bachelor Degree in Rehabilitation Therapy from Tongji University, Shanghai, China, where she received clinical and initial research training. She completed her Masters Degree in Exercise Science at University at Buffalo where she was involved in many researches regarding thermal and cardiovascular regulation under multiple conditions during exercise. Her master’s thesis was cardiovascular responses to sugar- and artificially-sweetened beverages consumption during mechano- and metabo-receptor stimulation. She is now a Ph.D. student in Rehabilitation Science at University at Buffalo where she is working with Dr. Sue Ann Sisto and focusing on autonomic nervous function in spinal cord injury population.
