Sruti graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, India in 1997. She completed her post professional Masters in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda School Of Allied Health in 2000 and her Manual Therapy Certification and Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Saint Augustine, Florida in 2008. She completed her certification in Lymphedema Therapy in 2013. She is a Board Certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (2012) and Board Certified in Oncology Physical Therapy (2019).

She has been practicing for 27 years and her areas of interest include Orthopedic Manual Therapy, Oncology Rehabilitation, Craniofacial pain for Cervicogenic headaches and temporomandibular dysfunction.

Sruti is the Lead Oncology Therapist and is a Senior Primary Clinical Mentor for the Oncology Residency Program. She is also involved in the mentorship of clinicians in the nationally based ReVital Oncology Program. Since 2015, she has developed and taught ACE courses and workshops in evaluation and management of Head and Neck lymphedema and application of myofascial release in breast cancer patients. She is the lead instructor and lead developer for both courses, the Introduction to Manual Therapy for the Oncology Patient, and the Advanced Upper Quarter Manual Therapy for the Oncology Patient.

Sruti served as the regional ReVital coordinator and clinical champion from 2021-2023. She helped with establishing prehabilitation and early intervention pathways with Texas Oncology for Breast, Lung and Head & Neck Cancer. This improved access to patients living with cancer and beyond to receive Oncology Rehabilitation through prehabilitation, cancer treatment trajectory and into survivorship throughout the Baylor Scott & White Institute of Rehabilitation System.

Sruti currently works at Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation, Plano Alliance in Texas. She treats full time in an outpatient setting focusing on Oncology Rehabilitation and chronic pain patients.
