Jessica is a Ph.D. candidate at Texas Woman’s University in Dallas, TX. She graduated with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from University of Missouri in 2006 and completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Marymount University in 2009. Jessica is the founding director for the Oncology Residency Program at Baylor Scott and White Institute for Rehabilitation (BSWIR) and is a ABPTS Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Oncologic Physical Therapy.
Jessica completed her Certification in Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy in 2008 and attended the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy to become a Certified Lymphedema Therapist in 2008. She completed training and was certified through Survivorship Training and Rehabilitation in 2010 and completed her ReVital Clinician Certification in 2017. Since 2016, she has developed and taught multiple CEU courses specific to oncology rehabilitation for BSWIR and ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation. Jessica currently works in the outpatient setting for BSWIR in Grapevine, Texas. Her areas of interest include: improving access and quality of oncology rehabilitation, efficacy of exercise prescription in individuals affected by cancer, and residency/ specialization education.
