Deanna Meehan is a senior physical therapist at Kessler Rehabilitation Center in Edison, New Jersey. Currently, her clinical focus is in treating individuals with functional impairments along the cancer continuum as well as those with neurological injuries. She is a certified cancer rehabilitation specialist and serves as clinical faculty within Revital, Select Medical’s cancer rehabilitation program. In addition, she is a certified lymphedema therapist, having achieved certification through Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy. Deanna is also experienced in working in the acute inpatient rehabilitation as well as home health settings.
Deanna received both her bachelors of science in Biology as well as doctorate in physical therapy from Seton Hall University. She is a former adjunct professor at her alma mater, however does continue to deliver oncology focused guest lectures for the physical therapy program in hopes of bringing greater awareness to emerging entry level clinicians.
Deanna is a current member of the American Physical Therapy Association both at the state level and oncology chapter. She has presented in various settings, including the GRYT Health Global Virtual Cancer Conference, Select Medical’s Living Well Beyond Cancer Series, and at Cancer Care support groups.
