Dr. Willa Vo is an assistant professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at UT Southwestern and the Director of Training for the Rehabilitation Psychology Internship and Fellowship programs. She earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology and completed internship at the APA-accredited Northern Arizona VA with a focus on behavioral health psychology. She then completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in the Dept. of PM&R at UT Southwestern with specialized focus in neurorehabilitation and neuropsychology, further solidifying her identity as a Rehabilitation Psychologist. Her area of specialty includes general medical rehabilitation and acquired injury populations with a particular interest in moderate to severe traumatic brain injury and stroke. Currently, her primary clinical practices include consultative rehabilitation psychology services at the Zale-Lipshy Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital, comprehensive outpatient neuropsychological testing, and outpatient individual and group psychotherapy with a focus on adjustment/adaptation to disability.
