Dr. Jennifer Jones is the Director of the Cancer Rehabilitation and Survivorship (CRS) program at Princess Margaret (PM) Cancer Centre; a multi-disciplinary clinical-research program that provides impairment-driven cancer rehabilitation to patients during and after acute cancer treatment with the goal to maximize the quality of life, functional independence, health and wellness. She is also a Senior Scientist in the Princess Margaret Research Institute and the Butterfield Drew Chair in Cancer Survivorship Research. She has developed a robust and well-funded clinical research program focused on translational research to inform clinical survivorship care. This research platform includes:
i) Assessment of the prevalence and impact of long-term and late adverse effects of cancer and its treatment
ii) Development and evaluation of sustainable and cost-effective interventions for patients and their families along with innovative models of survivorship care
iii) Implementation of evidence into clinical practice through the development of integrated KT models and education (implementation and translational research)
