Dr. Kingsley has extensive tenure within the field of clinical psychology, rehabilitation medicine and teaching. She is the founder and clinical director of the Institute of Cognitive & Emotional Wellness in Westchester, New York. Her career involves such diverse roles as service delivery, teaching, supervision, and research. She has previously worked at NYU Health specializing in acquired neurological and medical conditions, while also co-directing psychology internship training. She teaches cognitive and personality assessment and supervises psychotherapy and neuropsychology testing at Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology and Teacher's College, Columbia University. Her research focuses on evidence-based service delivery models for individuals and families dealing with neurological conditions, psychiatric illnesses, and chronic health issues. Collaborating on various studies, she explores topics such as traumatic brain injury, memory disorders, attention difficulties, executive functioning deficits, and mental health post-COVID-19. Her leadership roles include Chair for the International ISIG of the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine, faculty position with the Cognitive Rehabilitation BI-ISIG Task Force, and serving as a psychology training site visitor for the American Psychological Association (APA) Commission of Accreditation Program (CoA). Additionally, she has had editorial experience and have served on boards including the American Board of Professional Psychology and the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine Brain Injury Interdisciplinary Special Interest Group.
