Rogih Andrawes is currently a Master’s student at the University of Toronto, enrolled in the Institute of Medical Science. With an undergraduate background in kinesiology from Ontario Tech University, Rogih has dedicated his academic and professional journey to understanding and improving human health and rehabilitation. He is actively involved in research at the University Health Network, Toronto General Hospital under the guidance of Dr. Dmitry Rozenberg. Rogih’s research focuses on the respiratory muscles of lung transplant recipients, examining how these muscles change post-transplant and the correlation of these changes with respiratory symptoms. This work aims to enhance the quality of life and health outcomes for lung transplant recipients through better understanding and subsequent management of their respiratory health. Through his work, Rogih contributes to the advancement of medical science in the field of respiratory rehabilitation post-lung transplant, aiming to contribute to the development of interventions that improve patient well-being and functional independence.
