Amber Medina is a licensed mental health clinician (LMHC) and is employed with Washington State Department of Corrections. She began as a mental health clinician, and in 2020 transitioned into a Traumatic Brain Injury pilot program associated with the University of Washington. Since the end of the UW grant, Amber has continued to work on TBI and has moved into a program development role for TBI under a contract with the Department of Corrections and the Department of Social and Health Services. Amber was appointed to the Governors’ TBI Council and currently serves as chair for the executive committee of the Council.
