Dr. Reiman is a medical oncologist at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Professor in the Department of Medicine at Dalhousie University, the Canadian Cancer Society Research Chair at the University of New Brunswick and a Senior Scientist of the Beatrice Hunter Cancer Research Institute. His clinical work focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of multiple myeloma and other plasma cell disorders, lymphoma, thoracic and central nervous system malignancies. His research program includes pre-clinical and clinical studies of novel biomarkers and treatments for these cancers. His laboratory team is based at Dalhousie Medicine New Brunswick on the UNB Saint John Campus and includes undergraduates, medical students, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and staff technicians and scientists. He has also collaborated on research examining innovations in supportive care for cancer patients in areas such as physical activity and mental health.
