Nicole is a visionary and highly motivated biomedical engineer, passionate about building innovative digital solutions to improve lives. Her creative mind and energetic drive have served her admirably in the workplace and publicly, such as being a speaker in the IEEE Tech for Humanity Series at SXSW. Nicole has strong business acumen and is especially talented in pulling together and motivating multidisciplinary international teams towards a common goal. She has a robust background in developing new technologies in highly regulated spaces, such as in the healthcare industry and federal government. Nicole has successfully led global project teams with cohorts from Israel, Europe, Canada, and Taiwan through complex technical projects. She is the founder of PeleOs Technologies, a biomedical technology startup that builds impactful medical product lines. Recently as the head of technical program management at medical device company Penumbra, she was responsible for developing their next-generation medical virtual reality system and leading hardware research. Previously, she led healthcare products at Magic Leap, driving product development of a user-sensing data platform and creating augmented reality health app ecosystems while managing a cross-functional international team and supporting their military division. She chartered their healthcare business vertical by establishing pivotal partners to include CSS Health Insurance and pitching key influencers to include Alain Berset, President of Switzerland, and Carlos Alvarado Quesada, President of Costa Rica. Nicole is a certified Project Management Professional, Six Sigma Green Belt, and a proven innovator in the tech space with 48 patents.
