This symposium offers a unique opportunity for clinical professionals to engage with research and industry professionals from the rehabilitation technology field to understand the evidence supporting the use of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence technologies for neurorehabilitation in the clinic, home, and community. Clinical evidence for use of distinct Data Science and Artificial Intelligence technologies will be presented in didactic lecture. This will be followed by a demonstration of commercially available examples of each technology. Attendees will develop a better understanding of the theoretical background, research evidence, and application basics of data science and AI technologies following completion of this symposium.

Learning Objectives:

• Upon completion, participant will be able to identify the rationale for the use of data science and AI to enhance the precision and accessibility of neurorehabilitation.
• Upon completion, participant will be able to explain the potential applications of and research evidence underlying the use of data science and AI in neurorehabilitation.
• Upon completion, participant will be able to discuss considerations and recommendations for the use of data science and AI, including benefits, challenges and opportunity costs for adoption/non-adoption into various clinical practice settings.
