Building a sustainable health behavior program for people with brain injury living in the community is challenging due to implementation barriers (e.g., stakeholder engagement, human/financial resources, and operational guidelines). This presentation will review lessons learned about modifying evidence-based interventions (TBI-Health Program and Group Lifestyle Balance Program) with telehealth adaptations to engage communities and institutions. Implications for improving evidence-based interventions and policy around the continuum of care for people living with brain injury will be discussed.

Learning Objectives:

• Upon completion, participants will be able to summarize two forms of adapting evidence-based programs to a telehealth/hybrid format for people with brain injury.
• Upon completion, participants will be able to consider the strengths and weaknesses of telehealth approaches for people with brain injury.
