This symposium will present the latest insights on concussion management from the world of soccer. Unique updates from the world of elite soccer that can be translated to community level sports will be presented. Topics will include;
1. Practical implications of the Amsterdam Concussion Consensus Statement in Soccer. An outline of some of the practical challenges that have been faced with implementing the new guidelines will be discussed alongside methods to disseminate the information to grassroots level sports.
2. Heading the football – What are the risks and long term implications? Heading presents unique brain health considerations in soccer. Latest insights and research will be discussed.
3. Nutritional strategies in concussion rehabilitation. Which nutritional programme is best in sports concussion rehabilitation?
4. Artificial Intelligence Use Cases in Sports Concussion. New methods to diagnose and guide rehabilitation will be outlined.
