Ioulia Solomou is a researcher with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. She earned a Master's degree in Neuroscience, laying a solid foundation for her research endeavors. Ioulia is currently a post-doctoral research associate at the Center for Applied Neuroscience. Her work is particularly focused on developing "CAT-BRAIN," an innovative cognitive rehabilitation software designed to support individuals recovering from brain injuries and cognitive impairments.
Her research interests are centered around predictive models for the Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) population, aiming to improve diagnostic tools and rehabilitation strategies. Additionally, Ioulia is deeply invested in studying the long-term impacts of COVID-19, particularly the cognitive and psychological consequences known as long-COVID.
Through her academic and research pursuits, Ioulia Solomou strives to bridge the gap between neuroscience and clinical psychology, aiming to enhance the lives of those affected by neurological and psychological challenges.
