I began working as an occupational therapist in 2015 while I simultaneously began working on my terminal degree. This gave me hands-on experience with people in rehabilitation and ways to consider and clinically reason as to why their bodies weren’t behaving the way they needed to. My Dissertation was related to body mechanics and internal body structures of healthcare workers which further invested my interest in the area of the human body. During this time I also taught in the advanced anatomy course at BYU, and currently I work with the Occupational Therapy Program at TTUHSC. At both locations I have been involved in research related to the human body and how different stresses affect different body structures and even how variations in those body structures influence pain in the individual.
