Dr. Sandra Brown is an Associate Professor at Jacksonville University in the Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program. Dr. Brown has been an occupational therapist for over 25 years. She has specialized in pediatrics, however has worked in a variety of settings including home based, schools, residential facilities, and outpatient clinics. She has also worked as a center manager a large outpatient rehabilitation clinic. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics through the AOTA and is also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Currently, Dr. Brown is engaged in research and clinical practice with an emphasis on quality of life, the impact of challenging behaviors on participation in daily routines for the pediatric population, as well as enhancing student engagement in higher education.
