Dr. Abou is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (Michigan Medicine) at the University of Michigan. He is interested in evidence-based practice in neurorehabilitation. His research concentrates on educational and task-oriented approaches to adjust motor control and prevent secondary impairments. His ultimate research goal is to enhance functional independence and maximize quality of life of people after disability.
