My educational background and experience make me well-suited for my role on this project. My education and career has focused on the security, storage and accuracy of data throughout the data life cycle. As the Director of Research Operations at Craig Hospital, I have focused on providing the database and interface oversight on several research grants and contracts on an ongoing basis. As the Co-Director of both the TBI Model Systems (TBIMS) National Data and Statistical Center and Rocky Mountain Regional Brain Injury System, I oversee all aspects of data collection, storage as well as data manipulations. I have experience with implementing the TBI Model Systems database frameworks into many other coordinating centers for TBI grants such as the VA Poly Trauma Centers implementation of the Model Systems, a NIH grant focusing on anger management, two PCORI grants focusing on sleep apnea and transitioning from acute to post-acute care, and a NIDILRR funded grant on chronic pain.
