Md. Mahafuzur Rahaman Khan received the B.Sc.Eng. degree in electrical and electronics from Stamford University, Bangladesh, in 2019, and the master’s degree in engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is currently a Graduate Ph.D. Student with the Mechanical Engineering Department, UWM. He is a Teaching Assistant with UWM. He has been a Research Assistant with the Biorobotics Laboratory, UWM, since January 2021. He is an Applied Researcher of mechanical engineering who studies robot-assisted rehabilitation, advanced control, and telerehabilitation systems. His current research interests include digital twins, augmented reality, mixed reality systems, and robotic rehabilitation and assistance for people with disabilities. His research is unique in the area since it immediately contributes to the quality-of-life enhancement of people with limb impairments and helps them regain independence faster through robotics.
