Daniel Young completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy training at Creighton University in 2002 and his Ph.D. in Public Health at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 2014. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He holds an appointment as an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, where he helps lead the Activity and Mobility Promotion (AMP) program. His research aims to combat the immobility harm experienced by patients in the hospital by better understanding the access to, outcomes, and costs associated with inpatient rehabilitation efforts.
