Dr. Metts is an Associate Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and an investigator at the Biomedical Informatics Center (BMIC) at the Medical University of South Carolina. He has been involved in numerous NIH-funded studies as Investigator, Software Development Consultant, and Technology Provider. His contributions to science include: (1) Ecological Momentary Assessment and Patient Reported Outcomes Using Mobile Devices; (2) Citizen Science Using Mobile Devices; and (3) Real-time Visualization and Analysis of Data from Medical Research Apps.
