Gloria Lee is a professor of Rehabilitation Counselor Education for 20 years. She is a rehabilitation psychologist by training. Her programmatic research focuses on psychosocial adjustment among caregivers and individuals with chronic illness and disabilities, including clinical populations such as neurodevelopmental disabilities, multiple sclerosis, and trauma brain injuries. She also collaborates with researchers to work with the Veterans and aging populations. Her research focuses on the investigation of the interplay of caregiver and disability factor in affecting adjustment, especially how caregiver-implemented intervention in enhancing positive outcomes, using methods including psychoeducation, consultation and collaborative approaches. She is also interested in using implementation methods in adapting evidence-based treatments to other clinical, cultural and community settings.
