Clinical Neuropsychologist

Dr. Nwana is currently employed at Houston Methodist Neurological Institute as a Clinical Neuropsychologist working with patients with varied neurological presentations. She was previously employed as a neuropsychologist at Memorial Hermann Katy Rehabilitation Hospital in an inpatient/outpatient service. She was an Adjunct Assistant Professor at UTHealth McGovern Medical School in the department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She completed her Ph.D. at Howard University, her internship at the Cleveland Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) and fellowship at the Baltimore VAMC. Her research interests include cross-cultural aspects of neuropsychological assessment and interventions to reduce cognitive disability following brain injury.
