Chris Rice is a dedicated advocate for individuals with mobility challenges, drawing from personal experience as a peer support leader and a wheelchair user due to a spinal cord injury twelve years ago. Currently based in Nova Scotia, Canada, Chris manages a peer support program to counsel and guide newly injured individuals through their initial stages of adaptation. Chris is committed to furthering SCI research and promoting an active lifestyle despite mobility challenges. He also volunteers as the facilitator of a virtual support group for young adults living with chronic and persistent pain.
