Shu Cole is Professor in the Indiana University School of Public Health-Bloomington. Her research focuses on the psychology of participation and travel experiences of individuals with spinal cord injuries and older adults. Her current project includes an NIDILRR-funded study on the accessible air travel experiences of people with physical disabilities, including those who acquire disabilities as they age.
