Dr. M A Shaphe. PhD is an Professor, Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, Jazan University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since 2011. Prior to this appointment, Shaphe worked at various capacities with Jamia Hamdard, Delhi, India since 2007 and Principal of HMS College of Physiotherapy Tumkur, Karnataka, India 1998. He has completed his entry-level physiotherapy graduation 1997 and Post-graduation in Cardio Pulmonary Physiotherapy in 2005 and PhD in 2010. As an active academician, he has completed a project, which analyzed the entry-level physiotherapy curriculum of Jazan University since its commencement, and prepared a blue print for a uniform physical therapy curriculum. He teaches cardiopulmonary & geriatric disorders Theory and practical to the entry level program and concentrating on implementing research as a habit and he is member of ethical research committee. Dr. Shaphe has several research paper published in peer reviewed referred journal as author and co-author and has more than 500 citations. He has graduated PhD scholars. He is a reviewer and editor in several peer reviewed refereed international Journals. Recently PT department has full accredited by NCAAA. Four of his articles has earned a space in WHO Covid-19 Library.
