I have 40 years experience in rehabilitation focusing primarily in persons with brain injury. In addition to my clinical work, I have extensive experience in research on recovery from traumatic brain injury. I recently retired as Associate Vice President for Research of TIRR Memorial Hermann. I continue to consult with TIRR to assist with research management and to continue dissemination of research findings. In addition to my affiliation with TIRR, I am Clinical Professor of Physical and Rehabilitation with Baylor College of Medicine. I am a fellow of the American Psychological Association, the National Academy of Neuropsychology, and the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine.
