Stephanie Hardesty, PT, DPT, NCS (she/her/hers)

Stephanie Hardesty is the Director of the Rehabilitation Clinical Program at Northwell Health Glen Cove Hospital.  Stephanie graduated from Boston University with Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2009. She has been practicing for 13 years, serving primarily the neurological population in the inpatient acute rehabilitation setting. Stephanie is an American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) Specialist in Neurological Physical Therapy. Throughout her career, Stephanie has extensive experience in leading quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience, patient outcomes and efficiency. In 2022, Stephanie joined the team at Northwell Health Glen Cove Hospital. Her work at Glen Cove Hospital is focused on improving quality care. In 2023, Stephanie chaired a committee leading to CARF Accreditation for Glen Cove Hospital. Stephanie strives to create better programs for patients with neurological diagnoses through developing high-quality initiatives guided by the latest research and literature.
