Fahad Zamir is a first-year medical student at Weill Cronell Medical College in Qatar. Fahad completed his schooling Pakistan, where he took keen interest in advocating for health literacy and tackling the health disparities present in this country. As a medical student, Fahad has worked closely with the Institute of Population Health at Weill Cornell to address the health inequities present in developing nations. He has also been involved in establishing the gastroenterology interest group, tutoring his peers, participating in Cornell’s basketball team, and taking part in multiple competitively funded research projects.
